City Administration


The Finance Division develops, refines and encourages adherence to financial policies which promote and support the City's sound fiscal health, safeguard the City's assets and improve the City's bond rating. The Finance division manages payroll, benefit administration, water and sewer billing and grant and project accounting. The Finance Division also

  • coordinates accounts payable and accounts receivables
  • bills for water and sewer services for the Department of Public Works Sanitation Division. Payments may be made in person at the Treasurer's Office at City Hall, mailed to City Hall or put in the lock box near the main door on the south side of City Hall.   • provides centralized Capital Project and TIF accounting
  • provides centralized grant accounting for the various grant programs that the City of West Allis administers through the special revenue fund
