Library
The purpose of the West Allis Public Library is to provide the members of its community with access to materials and services which can improve their minds, broaden their lives, and fulfill their cultural, civic, intellectual, educational, and recreational needs.
Milwaukee County Federated Library System - MCFLS
The West Allis Library is a member of the Milwaukee County Federated Library System, a membership organization of fifteen public libraries in the City of Milwaukee and suburban Milwaukee County communities that share resources. Using the online MCLFS system, you can search CountyCat, an online catalog for all member libraries and view reference databases.
The West Allis Public Library is governed by the Library Board, which is appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Common Council.
The West Allis Public Library also receives generous support from the Friends of the West Allis Library.
Use of the resources of the West Allis Public Library is subject to the terms of the Internet Use Policy and the general Library Code of Conduct.
