Jump Start Your Job Search Workshop

This free workshop, presented by the Job Center of Wisconsin, provides an overview of job search strategies, tools, and services you need to effectively compete in today’s job market. It will take place Tuesday, January 31st at 3:30 P.M. in the Constitution Room.

West Allis Leisure Timers

Programs are offered for adults who enjoy viewing films and slides relating to travel and history. Programs are held on the second and fourth Monday of each month in the Library's Constitution Room. Check the Library Calendar listing for upcoming programs.

Tuesday Night Book Discussion

Open to the public, this book discussion group meets the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm in the Library Conference Room. Check the Library Calendar page for upcoming books.

Wednesday Morning Book Discussion

Open to the public, this book discussion group meets the first Wednesday of the month at 10:00 am in the Library Conference Room. Check the Library Calendar page for upcoming books.

Friends’ of the West Allis Public Library Monthly Book Sales

The Friends’ of the West Allis Public Library will host book sales on the second Saturday of each month. The May book sale will feature Children’s books, while the June sale will feature men’s reading interests and westerns. In July the theme will be science fiction and fantasy books. The monthly sales are held in the Library’s Constitution Room, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Friends’ also accept donations of books, videos, DVDs, puzzles, games, records CDs, cassettes and computer software. Please no textbooks, encyclopedias, catalogs, musty books, or Reader’s Digest condensed books.
