Police Department
The Training Bureau is responsible for the implementation, delivery and coordination of all training programs throughout the Department. In addition, the Training Bureau oversees the Police Reserve and Explorer units, Field Training Officer program, Intern program, Recruitment program, Ballistic Vest Grant program, Livescan Grant program, Honor Guard and clothing and training equipment purchases. It assists other areas of the department with policy/procedure development and research and development.
The Police Reserve and Explorer units donate their assistance to the West Allis Police Department, West Allis-West Milwaukee School District, West Allis Health Department, Community Alliance Against Drugs, West Allis-West Milwaukee Recreation Department and various community based programs.
